Encode Notes
This is a fairly "classic" set of BDs with serious decoding compatibility issues and image artifacts, which required us a lot of effort in this project. We fixed the color banding, choma shift and ringing problems, with a lot of trim-and-treat for video parts requiring specific filtering. Finally we applied strong but controlled sharpening in order to limit the downside of the filtering and improve the visual quality.
We started this series long ago, however it wasn't smooth for certain reasons, and we decided to redo everything serveral times when we had come up with better solutions. This final version is equipped with most up-to-date skills in pre-processing design and parameter tuning. It is the best we can offer for now, to our fans long waiting its release.
