Encoding Note:
The Blu-Ray source quality of KanColle is incredibly good as compared to any TV series. You can see a lot of sharp, sub-pixel aliasing on its drawings, similar to those found in The Garden of Words or K-ON! the Movie. This is the evidence that those drawings were made above full-HD level and then down-scaled when finalized. These efforts make the BD looks as sharp and clear as those budget-abundant movie series.
Due to its sharpness and fast-changing motion, BDRip for KanColle is typically very large(>1.5GB per EP), especially with AVC encoding. So HEVC encoding is deployed to effectively reduce the file-size without scarifying the quality.
