It’s impossible to talk about Yuki Isoya without talking about Judy and Mary.
Judy and Mary was an unavoidable pop-punk-rock band who debuted in 1992. Sony Records took notice of the group, signed them, and they released their first non-indie album two years later. Starting in 1994, in seven years Judy and Mary released seven albums, catapulting themselves into mainstream Japanese media and selling out concerts nation-wide. If you want a good Judy and Mary album then personally I’d suggest Miracle Night Diving, but you really can’t go wrong in any case. Judy and Mary went their separate ways after their final concert at the Tokyo Dome, in 2001. Yuki almost immediately began to focus on her solo career, releasing a few singles that quickly culminated in Prismic. Judy and Mary fans should not expect more of the same, but Yuki’s vocals and lyrical talents remain mostly unchanged.
Enjoy as always, and if you have any requests please let me know!
