Someone requested some music by Every Little Thing, but I can’t remember who. My apologies for the delay in getting around to this.
I like to share music from my collection that people probably haven’t heard of, but the reality is that Every Little Thing (called ELT by fans) has an established fan-base outside of Japan. However, I do not think most people understand ELT’s actual popularity. Their 1998 album Time to Destination remains one of the top ten best-selling albums in Japan. Everlasting is ELT’s debut album. The album was a huge commercial success and instantly put ELT on the map. The album has more of a synth-rock style that Every Little Thing would use up until Mitsuru Igarashi left the band in 2000, at which point they transitioned more to an acoustic, soft-rock style. So if you’re an ELT fan, this is a great album to compare against their later work after Igarashi’s depature.
