Uploaded for Onseki. I know you didn’t requset this, but I thought you might enjoy this after reading your comment yesterday about Blood the Wave by Eccy. This is also a repost since ruoying uploaded this nearly two years ago, but I feel like that’s long enough to upload something again.
For those unfamiliar with Zeebra, he is arguably the most popular rap/hip-hop artist in Japan. His career began in 1995 as part of the group King Giddra, but left two years later to start the solo career he’s had ever since. Zeebra has the distinction of being the first Japanese rap artist to break into the top fifty on the Oricon charts, which he accomplished in 2000. He also hosted the first television show in Japan dedicated to rap and hip-hop; the man has done more to popularize Japanese rap than simply release great albums. Zeebra has gone out of his way to help produce not only other rap artists, but surprisingly, even J-Pop stars.
Now that Zeebra is in his 40’s he seems to spend most time behind the scenes in studios. The double disc Black World/White Heat is his seventh album and at this time of writting his most recent release. It is a great an accurate representation of his style of music. I also have his 2007 album World of Music, which I’ll look for and upload if you guys like this album.
