Lullatone - Soundtracks for Everyday Adventures (1 January 2011)
Lullatone is a Nagoya-based husband and wife duo known for their self-titled 'pajama-pop'. Shawn Seymour of Lullatone met his future wife Yoshimi Tomida during college in the United States. When Tomida, a foreign exchange student, was returning to Japan Shawn decided to go with her, and the two married in 2005. The name Lullatone comes from Shawn's initial practice of working on composing quiet lullabies at night so as not to wake up his wife. Together they have created a number of soothing, relaxing albums, such as Soundtracks for Everyday Adventures.
And let me add that no Japanese group has more blunt, verbose, accurate song titles than Lullatone. For example, one song from this album: "Riding a Bike Down a Big Hill and Taking Your Feet Off of the Pedals." Pure genius.
