The BD image quality of Gekijouban Euphonium is as good as the TV. Lines are sharp, details are rich, and there are no obvious defects.
The preprocessing was largely the same as the TV, which we got rid of some weak banding to improve visual quality. Thanks to the improvement of HEVC, we switched from AVC which we used for the TV to HEVC for this movie.
