Encode Notes
BD source quality is mediocre. There are a few aliasing and ringing artifacts in the line art, and bandings can be seen in some of the scenes. We improved our pre-processing over the 1st season, fixed those issues accordingly, sharpened the texture, and encoded with HEVC.
As with the first season, we chose the director’s cut version as the main episodes, while kept the on air version as the alternative with smaller file sizes.
